Hagrid's Story
Description of the Pet
*Please thoroughly read the profile before submitting an adoption application and include your pet rental documentation if you are renting*

Have you ever wanted a half-giant as your faithful friend and companion? Hagrid is the kitty for you! He spent his early years as a fantastic beast born and living outdoors until he decided it was time to retire as groundskeeper. Within months this 14 pound floof went from shy to swaggering with his caretaker.

Hagrid LOVES being petted and simply being around people, content to make biscuits and rub against your legs while you work at your computer. He will follow you around and bask in the glow of his adoration for you. If you need a boost of self-esteem, Hagrid is brimming with wellness wizardry.

He himself is in terrific health - fully vaccinated, negative for parasites, combo-tested (neg/neg), normal labwork, and had a dental procedure in March 2026. He is estimated to be about 5yrs old (DOB approximately 3/2021).

Hagrid sometimes gets overcome by excitement and gently nips when petted but has responded well to training and the behavior has greatly decreased. For this reason, he would do best in a home without young children. Hagrid is curious and polite with other cats and expected to do well with other mellow kitties if introductions are slow and patient. He has not been observed around dogs.

Hagrid is being fostered in the Gig Harbor, WA area. Hagrid can’t wait to bring some magic and love into your world when you bring him into your family!

ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS

All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family.
