Hadron's Story

Whos that sneaking in the shadows? Waiting on the darkest blanket he can find? Creeping between the TV and the soundbar? Aaaah! Its Hadron, and hes just zippity zopped past, bouncing off obstacles like a pinball and attacking foes both real and imaginary.

Hadron is about 2-3 months old and one of the most playful kittens you will ever meet. Hes friendly and will warm up quickly, but is currently less interested in snuggling and being petted by people than running around like a mad thing and playing. He will happily play with a wand, a crinkle ball, your toes under a blanket, a spring, the red dot, and any animal who will tolerate him.

While Hadron isnt yet a snuggle bug, he is smart and very food motivated (especially by the tube-treats called Churu), so will be your best little shadow with continued socialization. He has shown no desire to scratch inappropriately, and is well litter box trained.

Hadron came to us after being found under a porch with his mother, siblings, an auntie mamma cat, and his (possibly unrelated) cousins. It looks like even kitties have to kip with the extended family in this economy!

Hadron would not be suitable as an only cat. He must go to a home that already has another young-ish/playful cat or be adopted as a pair with his brother Aery or another kitten. This ensures that his energy doesnt turn into behavioral issues and that he stays at the proper weight going into adulthood. If you are currently cat-less, kittens are always better in pairs!

Hadron is currently in foster care with his brother Aery, two adult cats, who find him to be a little extra, and two large Greyhounds, whom he mostly ignores. He has never met children, but does play a little rough and definitely doesnt enjoy being chased or picked up, so might not be a good candidate for a home with small children.

Hadron has been tested (negative FIV/FeLV), vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and treated for fleas and intestinal parasites. Hadron is ready to collide into your heart (and your legs, furniture, pets, and walls), so apply for him today!

Note: All of our cats are in foster homes in the Pittsburgh area, so the first step in adopting from us is to fill out an application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
