Habibi's Story

Habibi is a joyful, funny, and endlessly entertaining boy who will keep you smiling every single day. He was originally fostered by a rescue volunteer with another organization and Habibi grew up as the “kitten babysitter”. He's patient, curious, and full of gentle play energy.

Now about two years old, he’s sleek and slender, with glossy black fur, rounded ears, and a charming white patch on his chest. Everything is a toy in Habibi’s world — from a bottle cap to a shadow — and he’s got a full repertoire of chirps, trills, and goofy moves that make him impossible not to love.

Habibi has had comprehensive vet care, is microchipped, and in excellent health. He’s lived happily with respectful dogs and has gotten along well with some cats, but he can be confrontational with others. For that reason, he’ll probably do best as an only cat where he can soak up all the attention he craves.

He thrives on human interaction and would be a wonderful companion for a family with older, gentle kids or adults who enjoy a lively, affectionate cat. When playtime winds down, he melts into a boneless, purring, heart-melting snuggler.

Habibi has been an indoor-only cat with safe access to a catio and a second-story deck — the best of both worlds for a curious explorer.

If you’d like to meet BB, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
