Hi, I'm Guthrie and I'm looking for a good home for my sister Meredith and I. We are 2 friendly, 4 year old lap cats that are very experienced with being indoor house pets, but unfortunately the lovely woman that adopted us as babies was no longer able to house us due to some life events for her. So our original rescue is now helping to find us a new family that will love on us like she did!<br/><br/>I'm very much a people person. I love greeting my foster and winding around her legs and seeking out pets. I'm definitely a lap cat and I would gladly lounge and purr on your lap for as long as you'll let me! But I know I can't do that forever, so I'll take a sunny window perch as a backup option.<br/><br/>I'm no kitten, but I do still play with the occasional cat toy and chase them around the room. But now that I'm an adult I spend more time relaxing than I do playing so I promise that I'm not going to keep you up at 3am or attack your feet in bed like a kitten would!<br/><br/>I'm a very handsome long haired blue Russian mix, also known as a nebelung. Don't judge me for my bad hair day in pictures as I recently got a very unfortunate hair cut to check and treat a skin issue (that has since been resolved) so now I'm regrowing my gorgeous locks.<br/><br/>I've been with my sister for our entire lives so we really want to stay together in a new home. While we of course occasionally have our sibling tiffs, we generally are bonded and enjoy being with each other and spending time together. That being said, we're not the biggest fan of stranger cats, so we would do best in a home that doesn't have other kitties. We have however, met the resident corgi's in our foster's home and while we're not best friends with them we don't mind them at all so we would be fine in a home that has a cat friendly dog that will just let us do our thing!<br/><br/>I'm fully litter trained, vetted, and I actually will be getting my updated annual shots right before I go to a new home, so I'm ready to find our furever family!<br/><br/>I am on a special brand of food diet as the rescue is currently doing an elimination diet to rule out a possible food allergy, so I'll need you to keep me on the same food until some additional foods can be tested, but if I test well with those foods you might be able to switch me back to a regular food!<br/><br/>His adoption fee is $175 ($250 for the pair, which is a half off special to adopt this bonded pair) and it covers receiving the following before coming to your home...<br/><br/>-FIV/FeLV Combo test (negative)<br/>-neuter<br/>-distemper shot<br/>-rabies shot<br/>-flea/tick/dewormer<br/>-microchipped<br/><br/>https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DEAR/Cat
