Gus's Story

DOB: 09/1/2021

Gus was originally adopted out as a kitten, but returned about a year later due to being bullied by another cat in the house. He is a beautiful fluffy guy. He loves to eat and lounge in the catio. He does like attention, but he’s a pretty independent guy overall.

Gus does have a condition called Nasopharyngeal stenosis, which is basically a narrowing of the nasal passages. He had one surgery a couple years ago to widen it and it has helped some. He is a bit noisy when he eats and on occasion will have a small coughing spell, but it doesn’t affect his daily life.

Gus activity level does need to be kept minimal , no excessive running etc., but otherwise he can do anything a normal cat can and doesn’t realize he’s any different.
