Gus is looking for his forever home.
This gorgeous velvet teddy bear was found in a high risk feral cat colony. It was clear to the person caring for the cats that Gus did not belong there. He was extremely friendly and looked like he had been used to living in a home. Efforts to find his owner, however, were unsuccessful. He was not microchipped and online posts and shelter inquiries were in vain. Gus is one of the friendliest, sweetest cats you will ever meet. He has a loud purr and loves to receive affection. He gets along well with other cats, but we don’t know about dogs as there are none in his current foster home. We have had Gus vetted and he will be neutered this week. He was given a clean bill of health, but he is FIV positive. Cats who are FIV positive can live a long, healthy life. They can also live in a home with cats who are not FIV positive as long as they are friendly and don’t fight. Gus would make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.
