Gus is a beautiful and very gentle grey, male cat with gorgeous green eyes. Most of the days he prefers to relax nearby you on one of the spots he fancies, but he especially likes having a covered space for daytime and nighttime relaxing.<br/><br/>Sweet Gus behaves very well on his own, staying out of trouble and just sticking to napping, exploring, and eating when needed. Brushing is very important to Gus, and he especially likes his cheeks being brushed, but also appreciates a few side and back brushes too. Gus prefers to be in a solo cat in his future forever home!<br/><br/>Gus has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

The first step in adopting from 9 Lives Rescue is to get pre-approved by filling out our adoption application! You can find it here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NLWI/Cat Your application approval means that you are approved to adopt from us, not for one specific kitty. When you find the kitty that is right for you and them, you can take them home! In the application, you can let us know who you want to meet. We cannot guarantee that by the time your application is approved that a particular kitty will be available. However, there are always new kitties coming available to adopt and we'll do what we can to find you the perfect match! We also have barn cats for mouse patrol.
