Gus's Story
Howdy folks, my name is Gus the Bus, or Gus for short.

My siblings and I were rescued by the Hope 4 Paws Animal Control team, and we couldn't be more grateful. As an older gentleman who was not properly socialized in his previous home, I admittedly had a very difficult time settling into my new environment. I was hissing, swatting and defensively growling at my new friends. Slowly but surely, I began to realize that my new life is not so bad...in fact, it is MUCH better than the conditions I had previously endured.

Though I still have my set boundaries, I have truly blossomed into a more social, confident boy. I enjoy lounging around and my cat bed, making biscuits, and rubbing up against my human friends for tasty treats. I enjoy the companionship of other cats even though some of the younger kittens can really be quite spicy toward me!

What's better than a big ole tuxedo cat? Nothing if you ask me! If I sound like the purrfect fit for your household, submit an adoption application for me today!
