The good news is that she is beautifully regulated and does wonderfully with her care routine. She receives insulin twice daily and is an absolute superstar when it comes to glucose testing. Her care is much simpler and more affordable than many people expect, with her insulin costing approximately $20 every six weeks. She enjoys a primarily canned food diet with just a small measured amount of crunchies each day and is thriving.<br/><br/>If you've never cared for a diabetic cat before, don't let that scare you away. Whiskers is happy to provide hands-on training and ongoing support to ensure you feel comfortable and confident.
