Guillaume's Story

Guillaume (ghee-yome) is a wonderful healthy 12-year-old neutered black male cat. He loves his people and loves to be sung to; he will meow back. He is presented here as Lending A Helping Paw cat, meaning he is in the care of his owner, who will make the adoption arrangements.

Guillaume has a thyroid condition, but it is well controlled with medicine. He is on medicine for anxiety as well, and does exceedingly well on it.

I am hoping to rehome him as we're going to start a family and I'm unsure how he will react to a small baby. He can't be around other dogs or cats, but never cared when I volunteered with cats and came home smelling like them. I honestly think he would make an amazing pet for a couple or single person, as he loves his family so much. He has been around school-age children a few times and did well. I cannot stress enough how loved this cat is. And how much I want him to go to a good home. He's a great cat if you have emotional needs and crave companionship.

To learn more about Guillaume, fill out ACAT's preadoption application. Guillaume is in Anchorage. For general information, contact ACAT at 982-2228. Serious inquiries should complete ACAT's preadoption application found on the adoptables gallery page of our website.
