Gucci's Story

Gucci’s life didn’t start out in luxury.

He was first found scavenging near trash cans, his face wounded and clearly starving. He was so hungry that he didn’t even flinch when humans came close. His rescuer planned to do the right thing—get him neutered, vaccinated, and return him outside—but Gucci had other plans.

Once returned, he became increasingly affectionate, always wanting to be near his rescuer. On a particularly cold night, the decision was made to bring him indoors—and from that moment on, Gucci’s life changed forever. Now, his “luxury life” means warmth, cozy naps, endless love, and never having to search through trash cans for his next meal again.

Gucci is a true velcro kitty. He adores human hands and knows they bring gentle pets, full bowls, and lots of cuddles. Despite his name, Gucci has lived a tough life outdoors, surviving harsh conditions on his own. He’s earned his retirement—and deserves a forever home filled with love and comfort. Ready to give Gucci the happy ending he’s always deserved? Please contact his foster mom here: 706-247-3656 or mborgono1@gmail.com

Gucci is negative for FeLV and positive for FIV. FIV stands for Feline immunodeficiency virus, which is very common in cats, especially those who have lived outside at some point. FIV attacks the immune system, leaving the cat vulnerable to other infections. Please don't let it scare you, as FIV+ kitties can live a long, healthy life with basic routine vet care. Please don't hesitate to ask us any questions about FIV+ kitties.

Gucci has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. The adoption fee is $90.

Ready to adopt?
