Gru's Story
Hi there, I'm Gru!

I'm a handsome 9-month-old light grey tabby who's back on the market through no fault of my own. Spoiler alert: I'm basically the perfect cat, so let me tell you why.

First things first - I am the BEST snuggler. I'll tuck myself right under your neck and purr so loud you'll think someone left a lawnmower running. I have massive FOMO and will follow you everywhere. Bathroom? I'm there. Kitchen? Right behind you. Thinking about being alone? Not on my watch, buddy.

Now for the slightly less perfect part - I'm still figuring out the whole "rules" thing. Turns out the Christmas tree is NOT a climbing gym (foster mom was very clear about this), and shredding an entire roll of toilet paper into "bathroom snow" is frowned upon. Look, I have energy and I need either a furry friend to wrestle with or a human who's home a lot and doesn't mind playing with me. A lot. Like, a lot a lot.

I love other cats, dogs, and kids. I often let the resident toddler monster carry me around the house upside down like a furry backpack. I'm that chill.

Health stuff: When I was a baby stray, I got feline herpes virus and had a gnarly eye infection. I recovered perfectly with no vision issues, but I'm a carrier for life. Don't panic - over 90% of cats have been exposed to this super common virus (source: https://www.medvet.com/feline-herpes-virus-eosinophilic-keratitis/). Do your research and chat with your vet! It stays dormant unless I'm stressed, I can live with other vaccinated pets, and you might see me sneeze or have watery eyes sometimes. No biggie. I'm neutered and fully vaccinated.

So... want a cat who's basically a purring shadow that occasionally commits minor crimes against toilet paper? I'm your guy!

Please fill out an application if you're interested in adopting this adorable kitty!!!

https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/generic

Our adoption fee is $250. This fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age, a voucher will be provided for underaged kittens. Cats will also be current on prevention.

Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
