Grover's Story

Meet Grover: Long, Tall, and Handsome!

Grover is a strikingly handsome, long, and tall gentleman with an exceptionally silky coat that you won’t be able to resist petting. Born around May 2016, this dashing boy was found wandering the streets of Newark, unsure of where life would take him next. Now, he’s searching for a loving forever home to call his own.

Grover is a lover of affection and will happily snuggle up on you, offering his gratitude in purrs and head rubs. He thrives with a human companion and could coexist beautifully with the right feline friend, as long as the household isn’t too crowded—too many cats can leave him feeling a bit overwhelmed.

This playful guy is bursting with energy and absolutely loves playtime, especially when toys and catnip are involved. In his foster home, he doesn’t get enough active playtime and would thrive in a home where he can chase and explore to his heart’s content.

Grover is FIV-positive, but this is a manageable condition that doesn’t require much special care beyond regular vet visits and keeping him indoors. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and even live peacefully with non-FIV cats, as it is not easily transmitted. Grover has also had extensive dental work to address stomatitis, and he’s fully healed and thriving—his hearty appetite is proof!

This stunning boy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and has excellent bloodwork. He’s ready to bring his substantial charm and endless love to a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them.

Located in Newark, Grover’s foster family is happy to transport him to the perfect forever home. To apply and give this beautiful and deserving boy the loving home he deserves, please email Diane at dapsanimals@gmail.com.
