Groot (Neutered)

Groot is a handsome 3-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on November 14, 2025. Unfortunately the individual who entrusted Groot to our care did not provide any information about him, so his history begins the day we first met this awesome boy.<br/><br/>Groot has a sleek black short smooth coat with a few white hairs on his chest, a long tail, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and extra-long whiskers.<br/><br/>This good-looking gentleman has a super sweet personality and loves attention. Groot was in love with the HSOV Kennel Techs who took wonderful care of him, and he quickly managed to have them wrapped around his cute paws .. And he was often treated to out-of-cage time while they were cleaning cages in the room when he was being housed.<br/><br/>Groot was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on December 17, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on January 6, 2026.<br/><br/>Groot was neutered on December 18, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 9 lbs that day.<br/><br/>Groot is currently in The Jungle Room where most of our adoptable HSOV cats are housed. Groot is ready to find a fabulous home where he will be loved and spoiled to his heart's content. <br/><br/>Update: Groot was adopted on January 16, 2026.
