Santa Cruz Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Cat adoptions are $50 - $60 per cat and include spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, and FeLv/FIV test. Dog adoption fees range from $50 - $200 and include spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative. We have a foster-to-adopt program: pay 50% of the fee up front and foster your new pet. At the end of the 2 weeks, pay the balance of the adoption fee. We offer discounts for adopting multiple pets. If you are 60 years old or older, you may be eligible for our Pets for Seniors program - $50 off adoption fees. Ask us! 232 E.
