Meet Grilled Cheese, a calm, gentle boy with the most expressive radar ears you’ve ever seen. He may start out shy and reserved, but behind that quiet exterior is a total goofball!<br/><br/>Grilled Cheese grew up outside with very little guidance on how to trust people, so he still approaches new humans with caution. But this boy has made incredible progress! He now allows anyone to pet him, scoop him up, and even brush him, and he purrs through all of it. Recently, he’s even started falling asleep in visitors’ laps, which is a huge milestone for this formerly fearful guy!<br/><br/>He loves to snuggle with other cats, and if you gently place him on your lap or chest, he’ll curl up and snooze like a little angel. On his own, he prefers cozy, hidden resting spots like cubbies, nests, and fuzzy beds where he feels safe and tucked in.<br/><br/>One of his favorite toys is a moving ball tower scratching post. He’ll bat at it with surprising enthusiasm, showing flashes of the playful kitten he never got to be.<br/><br/>And of course… the ears. His big, dramatic radar ears are practically their own character! They tilt, twitch, and sass their way through every new situation. His ears communicate everything- curiosity, caution, confusion, mischief, and they make him absolutely irresistible!<br/><br/>Grilled Cheese is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can continue growing in confidence.
