GREY's Story
GREY was surrendered by his former owner because there were too many animals in the household. The owner also claimed Grey did not like other male cats. However, GREY has shown no aggression towards his roommates in the shelter. In fact, he has chosen to stay up high on a shelf and not interact with most of the other cats, unless they seem to need a friend. So far, he has shared his favorite box with Sonic who was nervous around the bigger cats, but became Grey's cuddle buddy until Sonic was adopted, super shy Fishtopher, who overcame his shyness and was adopted. GREY then spent time in Tiny Tina's kennel when she was too afraid to leave it, often napping in her kennel. She eventually came out of her kennel and was so friendly, she also was recently adopted! Tina found her courage and new home. Now traumatized Lenny has become the most recent kitty Grey has befriended and is comforting in the high box. After weeks of his quiet comfort, Lenny is starting to venture out a little and has accepted a few pets from volunteers. GREY seems to be the FIV room's own emotional support animal!

GREY is a very handsome grey tiger. We do not know if he does well with dogs or children. Due to his age, he might do ok with older children. GREY likes to sleep in his high up box, but once you get him in your arms, he is a purring, puddle of love and will snuggle you as long as you want to snuggle. He doesn't mind being picked up but doesn't like abrupt movements.

GREY may do best in a quiet home and could enjoy the rest of his life being spoilt and loved. Maybe you are looking for someone who is always happy to see you and just wants to hang out! He is apparently a very good listener and snuggler!
