Hi… my name is Grey, and I’m still trying to understand how my whole world changed overnight.<br/><br/>I’m about 2–3 years old, fluffy as a cloud, and everyone here thinks I might be part Maine Coon because of my long, soft fur and the way I wrap my big paws around you when I’m feeling safe. I used to give the best hugs. I still can… I just need a little time.<br/><br/>Right now, everything is new and loud and confusing. I didn’t expect to wake up in a shelter with strangers’ voices echoing around me. I’m doing my best to be brave, but I won’t lie—my heart feels a little upside down. <br/><br/>When I’m scared, I make myself small, hide under my cat bed in my cage…, but when someone gentle comes near, I remember who I am: a total huggy sweetheart who just wants to press my head against your chest and melt into your arms.<br/><br/>I know the real me is still in here. I’m just waiting for a quiet, loving home where I can breathe again, where I can take things slow, where someone patient will let me adjust at my own pace. If you give me that chance, I promise I’ll give you all the love I’ve been saving up. Filling out a adoption application is the first step.. . Currently, visits to the shelter are by appointment only for approved applications, so please fill out an application, then email it into us . Or, if you prefer, you can print it out on paper, fill it out, and drop it off. The manager will be in touch with you about an appointment for a visit, once your application has been approved.
