Greta's Story

Greta had been an outdoor cat for over a year, living on the bike path near Target, fending for herself. Folks have tried looking for an owner for a long time with no luck. Despite having to fend for herself - she really wanted to be an inside kitty. She LOVES attention from humans, but so far isn't loving other cats or a joy to be around, when other cats are around. She is a big-time talker and wants aggressive head pets but she also likes to give love nibbles when you pet her too much. She thinks she needs 12 meals a day but likely making up for lost time and has food insecurities. Since bringing her indoors she has no experience with a dog or small children and since she can be assertive when SHE decides she is done being pet, not ideal for a home with small children. She could tolerate a home with a submissive respectful cat to worship her from afar if she HAS TO - but I think ideally she'd love to just have her own people with no competition.
