Gremlin's Story

Hi. I’m Gremlin.

Before we get started, there are a few things you should know.

First, I am not a lap cat.

Second, I am definitely not a “pick me up and carry me around like a baby” cat.

Third, if you ignore Rules One and Two, I may have some strongly worded opinions about it.

You see, I started life as a feral kitten. Humans were terrifying, and I worked very hard to avoid them whenever possible. Since then, I’ve come a long way. These days I absolutely love being petted. In fact, I will often seek out attention and demand that my humans provide the proper amount of scratches and affection.

But I still like my independence.

I want affection on my terms. I want the freedom to walk away when I’ve had enough. I don’t enjoy being restrained, carried around, or cuddled against my will. Some of that wild little kitten is still tucked away inside me, and honestly, I think that’s part of what makes me special.

I’m playful, curious, and always interested in what everyone else is doing. If there’s a toy to chase, a cat tree to climb, or something I’m probably not supposed to investigate, I’ll be there.

I’ve also overcome more challenges than most kittens my age. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but I’ve proven time and time again that I’m tougher than I look. Through everything, I’ve remained happy, active, and determined to enjoy every day.

What I’m looking for is someone who understands that not every cat shows love the same way. Someone who appreciates a cat for who she is instead of who they want her to be.

If you’re looking for a constant lap warmer, I might not be your girl.

But if you’re looking for a funny, intelligent, independent little companion who will trust you because you’ve earned it, then we might just be perfect for each other.

Love,

Gremlin
