Gray's Story

??MEET GRAY — CEO of Comedy, Expert Bird Watcher, and Door-Opening Houdini!??

Looking for a cat who’s equal parts lover boy, goofball, and personal assistant? Meet Gray , the graytest cat you never knew you needed.

Gray's story starts off like a Hallmark movie with bad weather: abandoned in the cold Iowa countryside with his feline crew, found shivering in a ditch like a fuzzy little band of survivors. (Yes, we’re crying too. ?) Thankfully, two amazing humans swooped in and rescued them, and Gray has been turning trauma into gratitude ever since.

This guy is friendly, affectionate, and ridiculously photogenic (have you seen those green eyes?). He immediately took on the role of Big Brother to tiny kittens—probably teaching them the art of the flop, his signature move where he dramatically throws himself on the floor for belly rubs. Oscar-worthy.

? Gray’s Special Talents Include:

Headbutting everything (your leg, the fridge, your soul) with love ?

Playing with every toy like it’s his first Christmas ?

Watching squirrels and birds like he's the star of his own National Geographic episode ???

Climbing up high to survey his kingdom ? (yes, he will be on top of your refrigerator)

Opening doors like a furry velociraptor ? (Jurassic Purr?)

Getting along with all other cats and even tiny dogs! ?

He’s a classic extrovert: always curious, always involved, and usually somewhere he technically shouldn’t be. Laundry? He’s in the washer. Zoom call? He’s supervising. You sleeping? Not anymore—you’ve got a cuddle buddy.

? NON-NEGOTIABLES:

Indoors only ?

No declawing ????

Must accept dramatic flopping and late-night zoomies ?

Gray is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to be your new best friend. He’s currently crashing at a foster home in Charles City, IA, waiting for you to open your heart (and your door—he’ll open it if you don’t).

? Interested in adopting this magical mystery floof?
