Gracie Mae (Odin)'s Story
Meet Gracie Mae! First named Odin when the rescue thought she was a boy... but that was corrected. LOL. This girl is 1000% snuggle bug, loves to be held, and her foster, who has fostered a number of kitties over the years has said "one of the most affectionate cats I have ever known!"

She will give a chirp/squeal to greet you. And although she is completely blind, she is litter trained (zero accidents since day 1), finds her food with no issues, and still runs around playing and making herself at home as if she could see just fine.

Gracie Mae was rescued after she and her brother, Tip Toe, wandered to a little old lady's porch with terrible URIs that unfortunately meant their eyes had already been damaged enough to impact vision, but now that they have had treatment they are 100% healthy. These 2 are a bonded pair and must be adopted together (one adoption fee will be waived), as Gracie Mae loves to be with her brother, and they are a source of comfort for each other after a rough start.

Both of these kitties really love to play and have plenty of energy to race around the house with toys, but ultimately they are excellent at matching your energy and can still just calmly fall asleep in your lap.

Neither kitty mind other cats or dogs, but because of their visual impairments they do need some time to adjust and sniff things out and know that they are safe, so a slow introduction is needed. All of their vetting done, so she and her brother are ready to find their furever family and doesn't judge over a little ole' thing like vision impairment!

Her adoption fee is $250 (with the sibling's fee waived) and it covers her receiving the following before coming to your home...

-FIV/FeLV Combo test (negative)
-spay
-distemper shot
-rabies shot
-flea/tick/dewormer
-microchipped

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DEAR/Cat
