She loves soft voices, treats, ear scratches, and quiet companionship. She uses her scratching post like a good girl and is described as an extremely sweet, affectionate kitty. She may be able to live with another cat or even a dog with slow, careful introductions. Gracie Mae is FIV positive, which simply means she has a weakened immune system. FIV is most commonly transmitted through deep bite wounds, so friendly cats who coexist peacefully can live together safely. Many FIV+ cats live long, happy, normal lives and can share homes with non-FIV cats without issue. To help her transition smoothly, her adoption fee has been waived.
