She is a lap cat, a Velcro girl, a shadow kitty, destined to be someone's whole heart. She is a lazy, snuggly ma'am but bring out a toy mouse and watch her show off her playful-she may be approaching double digits but she still has impressive moves-and is healthy as an ox! One of her most endearing charms is bringing you freshly "killed" toy mice to your bed-so don't be surprised to wake up to an offering of assorted toys in the morning. Gracie vows to take good care of her favorite person, as long as you take care of her. All she asks is hat you don't have any other cats in the home. She promises she is enough and the only companion you'll ever need. She wears her heart on her sleeve...on her side actually-literally. A heart-shaped black spot on her side that sometimes looks broken depending on how she's laying-and full at other times. Gracie has been fooled not once, not twice, but 3 times before with so-called "forever" humans. She was returned the first time after 9 years in her home, again after a brief tenure in a new home, and again several months after acclimating to yet another new mom-all sadly ended due to zero fault of her own. Gracie deserves a TRUE retirement home where she is the spoiled rotten queen she is at heart. Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an exit exam from one of our veterinarians before going home.<br/><br/>BONUS! Adopt a Sheets Pet Adoption cat or kitten and receive discounted vaccines for the life of your pet! More details on adoption.<br/><br/>NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.<br/><br/>Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. Â At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
