Gracie (aka “mama”)

Gracie was found when she was very pregnant, and the day she was rescued she had her 5 beautiful babies. She was a wonderful mama to all her babies! She deserves to go to a calm, peaceful, happy home. She is a shy girl, who will need a family that is patient with her and slowly gains her trust. She is not reactive or aggressive in any way, she just needs time to get comfortable and adjust. Once she is comfortable she will walk by you rubbing herself on your legs and will sit / lay near you; she just needs to trust you. She loves to observe people and just relax. She loves her wet food, and churus are her favorite treat; she likes her dry food as well. She will be she ok by herself to get all the attention, or she can also go to a home with a younger companion, she is friendly with kittens and young cats. All FHS adoptable pets have been fully vetted (including spay/neuter, deworming, appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, and microchipping.) Est. dob: 12/22/24Interested in one of our cats/dogs? All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cat/litter), microchipped, and current on vaccinations.<br/><br/>We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors.
