Gracie's Story
Gracie was dropped off at the foster's house, limp and almost lifeless. It appears that the woman found the kitten in the middle of the road on a hot August afternoon, just laying there. Heat stroke or something.
We took her in and syringe fed her water and cooled her down. We gave her water over an hour, a small amount at a time. Then let her rest, hoping for the best. She woke up the next morning, thirsty and hungry. A great start. She was into everything and grew into a very beautiful cat. Her legs are long and she is a jumper.
After we took her into our foster home, some woman brought over 15 kittens and 3 mommies. All very sick and all my fostered cats got whatever it was they had, upper respitary, congectivitis, fleas, etc. It took months to get them all healthy. They now are ready to be adopted.
Gracie is especially sweet and gets along with all the other cats. And I think she would adoapt to most any household if introduced properly.
