Grace O'Malley

Meet Grace O'Malley, the one-eyed pirate! Grace (aka Sesame) started her life on the streets of Woodland with her brother. They grew up as community cats with a dedicated caretaker who fed and watched over them. Once morning Grace's caretaker found her limping after she was hit by a car. She rushed her into UC Davis where they performed surgery to fix her broken leg. Her eye was also badly damaged in the accident so it was later removed. This brave pirate warrior has been through so much and come out the other side a loving, snuggly cat. She can be a bit shy at first with new people. But if you give her treats and lots of head rubs, she’ll warm right up and start to purr like an engine. Her favorite things to do are to cuddle up to you, especially at bedtime, and rub against your legs once you get home. She loves her salmon-flavored Churu treats and will squeak at you until she gets one (typical pirate captain behavior). She also loves to window watch at night. Grace has been in a foster home with other cats and seems fairly indifferent to them. She has not met any dogs as far as we know. This sweet, affectionate girl is ready to bring lots of love and receive it in turn at her forever home.

Estimated DOB: 4/1/2024

If you're interested in adopting any of our kittens please fill out the adoption application and please note which kitten you're interested in meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSenKCEx6kQ-VU9okR7C70MDijsjDHV1VO_7XlBR33tlpsYrUQ/viewform

Please allow up to 48-72 hours after submitting an application to reach out regarding the adoption process - thank you!
