Gordy's Story

GORDY is a cute 7 month old, gray and white kitten who is exuberant, playful, cuddly and affectionate. His favorite things are sparkle balls, interactive toys, chin scratches, being brushed and lounging on and using the cat tree.

Hi! I’m Gordy – I am the quintessential kitten who jumps in with all four paws. You will catch me strutting around like the big man on campus, proudly parading my latest catch (sparkle ball). I have the loudest purr that my foster mom says the neighbors can probably hear it. When I’m not strutting, I am up in my cat tree, napping, conducting window-surveillance, and thinking big thoughts—mostly about how I can rescue sparkle balls that have rolled under furniture. I am determined, clever, and very committed to being reunited with toys that crinkle and sparkle. So, if you want to go on heroic adventures rescuing trapped toys, adopt me.

Gordy is in the same foster home as his brothers, Jesse and Jack, and they love playing and cuddling together. He has not been around other cats or children in the program and would prefer no dogs in his forever home. He is a little hesitant of fast movements so if he goes to a home with children, the child should be 12+ years old. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them their forever homes.

Gordy is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative and distemper and rabies vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200 (or $350 for a pair). Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about adorable Gordy.
