Goose's Story
Goose, DMLH Black male. Approx. 3-5 yrs. Nice cat, very shy at first, but likes pets. Goose needs someone to take him into their home and give him love and attention to gain his confidence. Brought to the shelter not knowing his fate. Shy nature. Other cats and dogs unknown at this time. With proper introduction may make new pet friends. $95 adoption fee. Neutered, Current on vaccinations. Dewormed, micro chipped, and FIV/FeLv blood tested (Goose tested positive for the FIV virus). He is a healthy kitty. It is safe and common to have an FIV+ cat with proper care; they can live long, healthy lives, as FIV isn't contagious to humans or other species and spreads only through deep bite wounds, not casual contact, making indoor life important for him.
