Good King Wenceslas's Story
We’ve been calling this wonderful cat King for a nickname but actually we should be calling him just plain Good! Even though one eye is gone and the vision in the other eye is reduced, King does great! Don’t tell him he has an impairment: he has adjusted incredibly well to his limited vision and certainly has no trouble finding his food dish … although he is quite sure he is not getting the appropriate amount! LOL. He even adjusted quickly to a covered litter box and uses it without issues. A very sweet guy, King loves to spend time with his people and is a great bed buddy, one who sleeps quietly until it’s time for you to get up. He’s also happy to snooze and keep you company while you work and just likes to spend time with you. King loves to play and frequently enjoys sessions of the “zoomies.” He loves cheek, chin, ear, and head skritches and in return he will give you huge purrs and loving head bumps on your legs. A serious foodie, he will lead you to his bowl to encourage you to top it up and is so cute when he ’s tracking down treats left for him on the floor. Something of an explorer, King is pretty much fearless at making jumps or getting into unknown spaces. He talks to you a lot especially if he doesn’t know where you are and if you call him, he will come bounding into the room to say hi. Call it Kitty Marco Polo?? ;) King does not like other animals so should be an only pet in an adult-only home. He is on pain medication which he takes like a champ. Our Good King is a joy to have in the home and if he sounds like the kind of special cat you would like to add to your life, let us know.

Estimated DOB: 12/13/19.
