Gonzalo's Story
Two-year-old Gonzalo is a big, handsome guy who is very friendly. At 16 lbs, we are looking for an adopter who can commit to helping him lose some weight. Gonzalo was surrendered to us by an owner moving away to college. Although he lived with another cat in his previous home, we noticed he was a bit of a bully when it came to letting other cats receive attention so he may be best as your only cat.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
