Gomez's Story

When GOMEZ first arrived at the shelter, the world felt big and overwhelming. He wasnt sure what to do with so many unfamiliar faces and hands reaching out to care for him. It was scary and he coped the only way he knew how: by hanging back.

He still gets nervous. He still needs a moment. But little by little, hes beginning to peek out from his shell. Hes learning that gentle hands can feel good, that soft voices can be safe, and that maybe just maybe he deserves kindness, too.

Beneath that uncertainty is a truly golden heart. The kind that, once it learns to trust, will love quietly, deeply, and completely. Gomez wont demand the spotlight but the bond he forms with his person will be incredibly special and meaningful.

Hes looking for a calm, patient home with someone who sees the beauty in shy souls and understands that bravery sometimes looks like one small step at a time.

Every tiny step Gomez takes toward you is an act of courage. If youre willing to move slowly and not give up on him, he may just give you the most rewarding love of all.
If youre interested in Gomez, submit your application for him at https://fourfootedfriends.org/adopt/
