Goldie and Inchworm's Story

Goldie and Inchworm are a polydactyl mother and daughter team. Goldie was found pregnant and gave birth at the home of our wonderful foster. Inchworm is the last left of Goldies litter. Goldie and Inchworm are extremely bonded and we would prefer for them to get adopted together. Both extremely friendly and halter trained!

Goldie is a super mom and true survivor. Goldie isn’t just any cat, she is a hero in fur. This stunning 2-year old mama cat has been through more than most cats will in a lifetime, and she’s come out the other side with love in her heart and a purr that won’t quit. On March 29, 2025, Goldie gave birth to seven beautiful kittens, all while suffering from a serious cat bite on her head. Because she was pregnant and so close to her due date, she couldn’t be treated with antibiotics. Sadly, two weeks later, the bite turned into an abscess and ruptured. Even then, nothing could keep Goldie from caring for her babies. With a donut collar around her neck and a wound still healing, she nursed her litter like the devoted mama she is. Once her head healed, Goldie faced yet another emergency after a reaction to her deworming. She underwent surgery to remove six inches of her small intestines. She spent time away from her kittens to recover, but this strong girl made a full comeback, and today she is back to being her affectionate and talkative self.

Goldie has extra toes on both her front and back paws, adding to her already unique charm. She loves to chat about her day and will happily sit beside you on the couch for heart-to-heart conversations. She is incredibly sweet, gentle and trusting. Even through all her medical treatments, she never showed a hint of aggression. Her foster auntie was able to medicate her daily and help her heal while Goldie wore a recovery suit like the fashion icon she is. Goldie was a staff favorite at the vet clinic and everyone asked, The answer is a resounding yes! “Is she always this chill?”

All Catmosphere Laguna kitties are fully vetted.
