Goldie's Story

Oh my... would you just LOOK at this sweet little lady!

Meet Goldie. At 15 years young, this petite little sweetheart is entering her golden years, and we are hoping with all our hearts that someone out there will open their home and heart to her.

Goldie is sweet, gentle, and still learning to feel safe and comfortable here at Pet Refuge. Sadly, her loving guardian had to surrender her through no fault of her own, and it was a very heartbreaking day.

Imagine being 15 years old and suddenly finding yourself in a shelter, wondering where your familiar surroundings and the person you knew would be. It takes time to adjust, and Goldie is doing her best.

Now, we want something truly special for this little girl. We want her to spend her golden years knowing the comfort of a soft bed, the warmth of a loving home, and the peace of having someone by her side. She deserves to be cherished, spoiled, and loved for exactly who she is.

Are you looking for a sweet little companion to curl up next to you? Someone to keep you company during quiet mornings, cozy evenings, and all those peaceful moments in between? Maybe Goldie is the little soul you’ve been waiting for.

Senior cats have so much love and companionship to offer, and they deserve the chance to enjoy their golden years surrounded by love.

Please don't overlook Goldie because of her age. She may be 15, but she still deserves a forever home, a soft place to land, and someone who will make her feel safe and loved again. Could you be that someone?

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step.
