Goldie's Story

Goldie
Est DOB: 11.17.22
Sex: Female

Goldie is a 3 year old orange tabby who has been through a lot and has shown incredible resilience. She was at risk of euthanasia due to severe stomatitis before coming into the care of CTRS, where she underwent surgery to remove all of her teeth except for her right upper and lower canine.

Goldie is currently on a wet food only diet and is an excellent eater. She finishes all of her meals and takes medication mixed into her food without issue. She also handled post surgery medication very well, including syringe medication, and has never bitten or scratched during handling.

She is very sweet and affectionate with people. She can be cautious at first, but when offered a hand she immediately leans in, rubs her cheeks, flops onto her side, and begins purring and rolling. She will tolerate being picked up briefly and held on her back for a few seconds before squirming, without swatting or biting.

Goldie is curious and confident in new spaces and began exploring right away. She loves to play and is fast when chasing toys, especially wand toys. While she thrives on human attention, we do not believe she would do well with another cat at this time, as she has shown swatting behavior during introductions.

Location: Coquitlam Petsmart

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION HERE-
www.cattherapyandrescue.com/adopt/
