Goldie's Story
Volunteer Post with Steph and photos by Genevieve!
"I wasn’t able to get too many good photos of Goldie in the peach room. But it wasn’t for lack of trying on my part. She’s so insanely friendly that every time I tried to back away and create space for an impromptu photo shoot, she was already running full tilt at me to rub up against me and beg for scritches. “Underfoot” is an understatement. I think if she could find a way to crawl into my hoodie, she would have. She’s more clingy than Saran wrap.
Goldie is a teeny petite lady with super dainty feet, and I love how it looks like she’s tiptoeing on her back legs when she walks. She has really long legs and a super long tail, so I can only assume she’s got great balance and there is an acrobat somewhere in there. She is spunky, playful, and has beautiful golden eyes that give her a “witch’s familiar” type vibe.
She is also a very vocal kitty, and made a whole bunch of sounds when I was visiting with her. Goldie chirped, purred, cooed, and I’m pretty sure invented a bunch of new sounds never before heard from a feline. Although she blends in great with the shadows, she’s not very stealthy. I can hear her talking through the closed door!
Come by and visit her in the peach room. I’m convinced she’s going to be a door greeter in no time."
Goldie is the mama to our newest batch of kittens and is a year old.

PLEASE DO NOT use the Petfinder Adopt Me application because we require more information.
