Bonded sisters Goldie and Pepper are looking for a loving home where they can stay together. After being rescued from the Bronx, they struggled in the shelter environment and spent the past year in a foster home, where they were able to live comfortably and build confidence. During that time, they made great progress and became more social and comfortable around new people.<br/>Their foster mom loves them dearly, but with two resident cats, she's unable to make their stay permanent. Goldie and Pepper have recently returned to the shelter in hopes of meeting their forever family, though the shelter environment can be stressful for them. A calm, understanding home would make a big difference for these two.<br/>Goldie is the more independent sister and enjoys lounging in sunny spots, while Pepper is a true love bug who enjoys affection and cuddling. They are gentle, bonded, and do well with other cats, and are ready for a home where they can continue to feel safe and settled together.<br/>If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match!
