Gloria's Story
GLORIA, GLORIA, GLORIAAAAA (okay okay… now that I’ve warmed up my vocal cords, hi. It’s me. Gloria.)

Hello, future family!
My name is Gloria, and yes , that Gloria. I am a very beautiful (and some say quite rare) female orange tabby. I’ve got deep, rich orange swirls painted all through my coat, big beautiful eyes, and a sweet little soul tucked inside this fluffy body. I’m also just a girl.

I came to the sanctuary a couple of years ago as a feral kitty, and whew… humans were scary. It took a very long time for me to learn that hands could be kind and that love often comes with snacks (the best kind of love, if you ask me). With lots of time, patience, food, and gentle hearts, I slowly learned to trust.

Because of that, my forever family will need to understand something important about me: I will hide at first. New places are overwhelming, and I need time to feel safe. But if you give me patience, consistency, and love, I promise there’s a very sweet girl waiting on the other side of that hiding spot.

I adore other cats and would do best in a home with a feline friend. You’ll often find me snuggled up with my kitty pals, or doing my favorite thing, snuggle walking, where we stroll together gently nuzzling our sweet little heads. It’s my love language.

Now let’s talk about the truly important stuff… TREAT TIME. I LOVE it. I LIVE for it. I use my beautiful voice to announce it to everyone within earshot. Lickable treats? Absolute perfection. No notes.

When I’m not serenading you or my cat friends, I enjoy:
• Sunbathing in the summertime
• Going absolutely bananas with catnip toys
• Cozy naps with my feline companions

If you think your heart (and home) might have room for a shy but loving orange girl like me, you can come meet me any day between 1–5pm and see if I’m meant to be part of your family.

GLORIA, GLORIA, GLORIA … I’ll be waiting.

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Gloria, please message us on Facebook at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary or email us at FurballFarmCatSanctuary@gmail.com
