Glitch's Story

Meet Glitch, a sweet and quirky girl who wears her unique personality (and name) with pride!

Glitch earned her name from a harmless, funny little quirk: her left pupil loves to do its own thing. When she first arrived as a stray in April 2026, that eye stayed permanently dilated. After her spay, it finally relaxed, and now it just “glitches” back and forth throughout the day—dilating and un-dilating on its own schedule. The vet checked her out and found nothing concerning; it’s simply part of her one-of-a-kind charm!

Don't let her little quirks fool you—Glitch is a total sweetheart. When meeting new people, she might let out a polite, harmless hiss just to say hello, but there’s no bite behind it! The moment you reach out, she melts into pure bliss and absolutely loves being pet and cuddled. She also has a fun, playful side and is currently rooming with kittens, whom she gets along with wonderfully. She doesn't mind kitten energy at all and will happily join in on playtime before settling down for a cozy nap.

Glitch tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but please don’t let that deter you! While the diagnosis sounds intimidating, FIV-positive cats typically lead long, happy, and completely normal lives indoors with quality nutrition and routine wellness care. The virus is strictly cat-specific, meaning it cannot be transmitted to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Because FIV is primarily spread only through deep, severe bite wounds, a gentle, non-aggressive cat like Glitch can safely coexist with other calm cats.

Personality: Affectionate, quirky, curious, and playful

Compatibility: Great with kittens and cats, adores people

If interested in adopting, please go to dalistotherescue.com and fill out a Pre-Adoption Application to be considered.
