Glinda's Story

Meet Glinda

Female, approximately 5 years old, spayed, up to date on rabies vaccine, up to date on flea prevention, litter box trained. Adoption fee: $100

If youre looking for a quiet, devoted companion who will reward your patience with endless love, Glinda may just be your perfect match.

This absolutely stunning girl was rescued from a forested parking lot colony, where life required her to stay cautious and always be in survival mode. Those days are behind her now, but she will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time.

Glinda is breathtakingly beautiful. She has the most enchanting blue eyes (with the slightest adorable cross-eyed look), soft cream and buff markings scattered across brilliant white fur, chocolate-brown shading on her ears, tail, and face, the pinkest little nose, and darling pink paw pads that are almost too cute to believe.

Like many former stray cats, Glinda will do best with a slow introduction to her new home. Starting her off in a small, quiet roomsuch as a bathroomallows her to feel safe while she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and routines. Once she realizes shes home, her personality truly begins to shine.

And what a sweetheart she is.

Glinda doesnt care much for being held, but she absolutely loves being close to her people. Shell happily curl up nearby while you read, watch TV, or work around the house. When its time for affection, she gives it with her whole heart. She purrs with incredible enthusiasm, delivers enthusiastic head bumps, and will even stand on her hind legs to push her face up into your hand for more pets. Her affection is wonderfully persistent, and completely irresistible.

Because she has a gentle nature, Glinda can be intimidated by more dominant cats and is often the first to be picked on. She also prefers a calm, predictable home and isnt a fan of loud noises or lots of commotion. She would likely thrive as an only cat or with other respectful, easygoing pets. A home without young childrenor with older, understanding children who can respect her boundarieswould be the best fit.

The adopter who gives Glinda the patience she deserves will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal little companion. Watching a shy former stray discover that shes finally safe is one of life's greatest joys, and Glinda is ready to share that journey with someone special.

Could that someone be you?
