Glimmer's Story

GLIMMER is a beautiful Female Tuxedo kitten with a cute black mustache. She is one of four kittens we rescued off the streets of Phila. about a month ago. The other kittens, Glow and Ray and Shine are also posted. An experienced trapper spent days helping us to get them safe. If we had not trapped them, they would be destined to a difficult feral life. All four are safe in foster care with the trapper in Delaware County, PA. We do not know the exact ages, but probably 2-3 months old. They will all be spayed and neutered on 10/19, receive vaccines, tested for FIV and FELV and chipped. These kittens will require patience and need experienced cat owners who understand they will not immediately be like typical domestic cats. But with the dedication of the foster, they have made great strides. GLIMMER is quite shy but is learning to trust. In the beginning, Foster put her in a cozy pouch to help her feel more comfortable. contact Patti@therescueexpress.org.

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save.
