Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Start by completing our adoption application online at sbanimalrescue.org/adopt
If you have current/previous pets, we will check with your veterinarian to ensure that they receive appropriate care. We can also recommend a veterinarian if you are a new pet owner.
If you rent, we need confirmation from your landlord that pets are allowed in your home.
While we don't do same-day adoptions, you should hear from one of our adoption volunteers within 72 hours. When your application is approved, we will schedule a pick-up time for your new kitty!
We always love to see photos of our SBAR kitties in their new homes! You can send photos to our email or our Facebook page.

Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue (SBAR) is a local 501c3 non-profit rescue in Shreveport, LA dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and unwanted cats. We provide shelter and medical care while we find loving and responsible homes for the cats at our rescue. We are run by volunteers and funded by donors.
