Gladys's Story

Gladys is a unique cat with a striking siamese/calico coat, narrowed eyes, and a permanent head tilt that makes her look ever-curious. She is also FIV+, though it’s unlikely she could transmit the virus as she lacks any teeth. There was no mention in her previous rescue’s records of the reason her teeth were removed, but she gets along just fine without them. Mild-mannered and sweet, we would consider Gladys an old soul despite being just three years old. She gets along with everyone and very little bothers her; she is simply happy to have company, whether it’s people or cats. She loves being pet, and when you stop she’ll use her paw to pull your hand towards her, gesturing you to continue. When in a playful mood, she likes to hunt down small toys and walk around, meowing proudly, with her prey in her mouth. She also enjoys running around with our other kitties, and once it’s time for a break she is eager to cuddle with anyone who will allow it. With how easygoing she is, Gladys could adapt to a variety of environments so long as she gets the love she craves from her people, though we would recommend that she go to a home with another pet, as having someone to snuggle up with is essential. Overall, Gladys can be described as the ultimate companion—gentle, warm, and loyal—and her forever family will find themselves very lucky to have her.

All of our adoptable cats reside at Feline Good Social Club cat lounge in Long Beach, CA.
