Glacier

Glacier is a big white female cat with pale blue-green eyes who came to the shelter on 11/24/24 at 10.5 lbs. estimated to be about 6 years old. She and another white female cat named Iceberg were rescued from a terrible situation. Their owner who had dementia died so the neighbor who also has a touch of dementia took the cats and put them in a cage in his freezing cold barn to "safe-guard" them for weeks. He fed and watered them but there was no litter box or blanket in the tiny cage. His relative found the cats and brought them to us, filthy and terrified. Both cats came around after a while but due to their previous living conditions and neglect, are guarded. They like a slow-paced quiet environment.
