Oh, hey! Allow me to introduce myself! I’m oh-so-handsome Gizmo! I’m here at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter waiting to meet you. I’m a youngish guy around 2-3 years old and am looking for a human BFF who will take care of me for the rest of my life. I like people, especially when they give me ear scratches and neck rubs. I can be a little shy for a few moments when I first meet you, but once I sense you’re a friend, my purr machine really gets going! My perfect dream of a home would be one with kids and possibly a feline friend. I’d like to invite you for a meet-and-greet because I really, really would love to find my forever home!

Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
