Too spicy to handle and too sweet to resist? Some people might think that ginger is overly spicy, but really? It's a seasonal favorite of many. Kittens, on the other hand, are always adorable, aren't we? I’m Gingerbread, one of three cute kittens who were found in November on Millie Meadow Drive in SW Rochester. My siblings Nutmeg and Eggnog have been adopted, but I’m still waiting to find my forever home. It’s true that I was so nervous when I arrived that I was too squirmy to be handled. But I have warmed up now that I have been here for a while. If I am approached slowly, I do okay with petting. If you’re patient and give me time to adjust, you’ll see what a sweet kitten I am. I’ll be ready to go to a Gingerbread house in no time at all! <br/><br/>Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Paws and Claws Humane Society's Adoption Policy

IMPORTANT UPDATE Although our shelter is open to potential adopters during the viewing hours listed on this page, Paws and Claws prefers to schedule viewings and adoptions by appointment. To make an appointment to meet and adopt one of the companion animals on our Website, we ask that you fill out an online application. Potential adopters can either click on the ADOPTION APPLICATION link on the right side of this page, or visit our Website at pawsandclaws.org and go to the "Willing to Adopt a Pet" section, then select the orange "Adoption Form" box. This will allow you to access the Adoption Guidelines and Application Form. After reading the Adoption Guidelines, either complete the online adoption form and return it to us, or print the Adoption Form, fill in the required information, sign it, and email it back to us via info@pawsandclaws.org. You may list up to four animals that you would like to meet. We review the emails every day. We will process all applications in the order that they are received and then once your application has been approved, we will contact you and set up an appointment for you to meet the animal(s) and if possible, do the adoption on the same day you come in.
