Ginger's Story

Ginger Meet Ginger! He showed up in an outdoor cat colony in the summer. His caretaker took him in when he followed her home one day. She took him to the vet to make sure he was healthy while we searched for an owner. No one claimed him leading us to believe he was sadly dumped. Ginger is full of personality; playful, cuddly, and always ready for some zoomies. His favorite time of day? Definitely when it’s time to eat! Ginger loves to make friends! He gets along well with other cats and would do well with a feline friend. He is also super social with humans and will follow you everywhere like a little shadow. He plays with everything, such a cute & funny little guy.

Head Start Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Prior to adoption, all animals are sterilized, tested for diseases, vaccinated, flea treated, and dewormed. The adopting party receives all paperwork of the animal’s prior medical care. All adoptable pets are fostered him homes with children and other feline companions, so our animals are use to busy households and every day commotions. They cannot wait to be loved by you and your family. Potential adopters complete an application and their references are checked. Once their references are checked, they are invited to meet the animal they are interested in, if it is a good match the adoption occurs.
