Ginger's Story

Ginger came to us as an owner surrender in February of 2020 when her owner fell ill and could no longer care for her. Ginger is one of the most goofiest, quirky cats around and is a blast to watch and play with. She has plenty of energy and loves running around the shelter playing with every toy in sight. Ginger is also quite the climber and loves spending time on the various cat trees around the shelter. She can be a bit persnickety with her attention and prefers to be pet on her terms when she asks for love, she is a calico after all. She tolerates her feline roommates okay but doesn't particularly care for the presence although she will strike up playtime with a few of the other cats when she's feeling super spunky.
