Ginger's Story

Ginger and Kiro were in need of a new home after their person, who is disabled, could no longer physically or financially care for them. They are both lovable cats who need patience and assurance of safety. They have opened up and bonded with their foster mom. Kiro is the more dominant of the two and Ginger follows his lead. Once Kiro trusts you, he wants a lot of love and attention and will become a lap cat. Ginger and Kiro would be the perfect fit for a single person or couple with no other pets. Their favorite activity is evening cuddles and treats!

Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Adopters download and complete an adoption application from our website and email it back to info@lapsandnaps.org. After reviewing the application, either the director or the animal care coordinator calls the potential adopter and conducts a phone interview. A home visit is sometimes conducted and, if the adopter is approved, arrangements are made for the adopter to meet the cat (s)he is interested in adopting. If it's a good match, the adopter pays the adoption fee, signs an adoption contract, and the cat goes to its new home.
