Ginger's Story

Hi, I'm Ginger and I was surrendered to the shelter with my friend Lou Lou. We came to the shelter together when our owner was moving, and while we have different personalities, we both have a lot of love to give. I’m the quieter half of the duo. I can be a bit reserved at first and will need some time, patience, and gentle TLC to help me feel safe and confident, but once I warm up, my sweet side shines through. Lou Lou is the outgoing one, and absolutely adores attention and being showered with pets from his favorite people. We both get along well with other cats, and while it would be lovely to be adopted together since we’ve always had each other, we can also find happiness separately in the right homes. I am one and a half years old, and Lou Lou is two and a half. We came to the MCSPCA on 1/7/26. Would you like to stop by and visit with us? Please call 518-842-8050 to make an appointment. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
